Being Strong, Not Sorry

Why do we (“we” =’ing women) say “I’m sorry” when we should just ask for what we want or say what we want with no regrets or feelings of inadequacy? I said “I’m sorry” just yesterday to another female for no reason at all. It was a knee-jerk reaction when all I needed to do was assert myself with my question confidently. It’s as though we are sorry for existing. Sorry for saying how we really feel and asking for things that we deserve. It’s time to stop being sorry and start being strong(er). This Pantene viral video reminds us of our need to prove our politeness when there is no need to do so in most everyday situations.
